We were blessed to have Kathy Carlton Willis join our Kentucky Christian Writers Conference faculty. The open workshop she presented on Friday night demonstrated her flexibility, and was one of the most popular presentations of the conference. She broke new ground by answering questions about publicity on the panel of editors, describing the advantages of having a publicist involved in a writer's career. Our attendees were enthusiastic about the manuscript critiques she gave throughout the conference, and left feeling they had received valuable instruction as well as encouragement. I look forward to working with her often.
Mary Gaskins, Kentucky Christian Writers' Conference coordinator

I wanted to thank you for the manuscript critique and for speaking at the 2007 KCWC conference. The comments on my manuscript were insightful and showed me a basic flaw in my writing, which has been holding me back. I especially appreciate your showing me my strengths. Even more helpful was our meeting time to discuss this at the conference. The conversation increased my confidence and gave me more insight about gaps between chapters.

I loved hearing you speak. Your expertise and humor added to the information and kept me listening--even at 8 P.M. after a full day of speakers.                                               Judy Sliger, Kentucky Christian Writers’ Conference attendee

Last year when I began praying about whom God would have me ask for our 2004 L.I.F.T. (Ladies In Fellowship Together) God laid Kathy on my heart...This was our 9th L.I.F.T. I cannot express in words just how God blessed this year. Words seem inadequate. Kathy spoke with power from God; she used her Bible to back each and every thing she said. Her power point was fantastic and her singing was beautiful and from her heart, she was careful to pick just the right song to go along with her lessons. Kathy was so real, if I heard it once I heard it many times, "it felt like she was talking just to me, as if we were the only two people in the room." If you are looking for a speaker for any kind of ladies gathering, I would highly recommend you inviting her to come to your church. She is a delight to be around, I have made another lifetime friend.

The LIFT was great! Kathy was such a blessing and what a sweet and powerful spirit the Lord has given her! My ladies were so touched, inspired and blessed beyond their expectations. THANKS, Kathy!
Rebecca Smith, pastor’s wife

I just wanted to thank you for the encouragement you were to my ladies at the LIFT. They really enjoyed you and received a blessing.
